Columbia University is an Ivy league school located in the center of the universe (Manhattan).  Columbia is located in the Morningside Heights neighborhood on the upper west side of Central Park.

According to Smart Money magazine, a Columbia grad is in the six figure salary range by their mid 30s.  They claim that that’s 12% more than a top-price public school graduate in a similar industry.

So, is a degree from Columbia worth the price?  With a cool $43,000 in tuition (it’s a private school, no in state), that’s up to you.
